Effective May 11, 2026
This agreement covers Outcry Sovereign, a commercial product sold by Outcry AI (“we,” “us”). It supplements, and does not replace, the Outcry AI Terms of Service which apply to all Outcry products including the free Outcry AI app. If anything here conflicts with the general Terms, this agreement controls for Outcry Sovereign only.
A perpetual commercial license for the current major version of Outcry Sovereign (v1.x). The license entitles your organization to:
You may run Outcry Sovereign for any lawful internal organizational purpose, including but not limited to legal aid casework, news reporting, union organizing, advocacy communications, and member services.
You may not:
We offer a thirty-day money-back guarantee from the date of first license activation. If Outcry Sovereign doesn't work for your organization, email support@outcryai.com within thirty days and we'll refund the purchase in full. Deactivate the license from the GUI before requesting a refund.
Outcry Sovereign is a one-time purchase at the price shown on the pricing page (currently $2,000 USD). The price you see in checkout is the price you pay; the published price may change in the future but any change is forward-looking and never affects a license you have already purchased. Self-attested 501(c)(3) nonprofits with under $5 million in annual revenue pay $1,000.
A free Community tier of the same daemon is available for download. It runs indefinitely on localhost with one API key, single-slot concurrency, and the basic audit modes. The paid license unlocks LAN binding, unlimited scoped API keys, all audit modes, longer retention, the Org Preamble, the signed update channel, and the support contract described in section 5.
v1.x updates are included for the life of the v1.x major version — no annual maintenance fee, no renewal. When Outcry Sovereign 2.0 ships, it will be a separate product with its own pricing. Owners of any v1.x license receive 50% off the v2.0 upgrade price in effect at the time 2.0 is released.
During the v1.x support window described above, we respond to support requests sent to support@outcryai.com within two business days (Monday through Friday, US Pacific time, excluding US federal holidays). For incidents that affect production serving, mark the email subject with “URGENT” and we will respond within one business day.
Support covers: installation and configuration, license issues, update problems, defects in the daemon or GUI, and reasonable integration help (OpenAI SDK, LangChain, Continue.dev). Support does not cover: tuning prompts for your specific use case beyond the Org Preamble feature, training custom adapters, or modifications to the on-disk Outcry composition.
Outcry Sovereign runs on hardware you control. Prompts and responses never leave that hardware unless you route them elsewhere. The daemon makes no calls to Outcry AI servers except when you click “Check for updates” in the Updates tab. See our Server Privacy Policy for specifics on audit log modes, on-disk state, and what we never collect.
Outcry Sovereign is provided “as is.” The underlying AI model is a 1-bit quantized 8B-parameter language model: it can and will produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading output. Use professional judgment when acting on its responses. Outcry Server is not legal advice, medical advice, or a substitute for qualified human expertise.
We make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement beyond what is required by applicable law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outcry AI's total liability under this agreement is limited to the amount you paid for the license in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages.
You may terminate this license at any time by deactivating it from the GUI. We may terminate the license if you materially breach this agreement and do not cure within thirty days of written notice to your registered email. On termination, you agree to stop using Outcry Sovereign and remove it from your machines within thirty days.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without reference to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising under this agreement will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
If we change this agreement, the new version applies only to licenses purchased or renewed after the effective date posted at the top. Your existing license stays governed by the version that was in effect on its activation date. We'll email material changes to your registered address at least thirty days before they take effect.
